This is a USGI Military Police Cross Strap for the duty belt. It consists of a pistol holster frog and shoulder cross strap. The strap was intended to help carry the weight of a heavy pistol or sword. Classic Military Police design. Currently used by many State Police and Military for Parades for Special Events.
